Roots-rock queen Lucinda Williams married producer Tom Overby on-stage during a concert of hers this weekend in Minneapolis. (By the way, her '03 song "Minneapolis" is incredible, but far too sad to be used in such a happy blog post!)
Just before her encore the couple were pronounced man and wife. Then they performed a couple of cover songs together: The Rolling Stones' "Happy" and AC/DC's "It's A Long Way To The Top (If You Wanna Rock 'N' Roll)."
Congratulations to them both! We won't make a corny joke about 'making beutiful music together' -- in part because we already know they will.
