Halter Wedding Dresses That Fit Your Figure

Dec07

When searching for the perfect dress for your big day you’ll want to find a style that fits your body type and shape and accentuates all of the right areas perfectly. Halter wedding dresses are a popular style amongst wedding dresses, and are ideal for specific body types.

Large Bust
The halter neckline is a top choice for women who have a large bust and want to show it off. Keep in mind that with the halter neckline you’ll have options and can cover up if it reveals too much cleavage. The halter will also give the most support in the bust area compared to other styles. If you love the support but don’t want any cleavage showing, then go with the squared-off halter wedding dress which will cover up any and all cleavage.

Small Bust
The halter dress, whether you choose formal or an informal wedding dress, gives those with a small bust the opportunity to either camouflage this physical trait, or to make them appear bigger. If you want to camouflage your small bust then choose a halter style that does not have a plunging neckline and that gives you coverage all the way up to your neck. If you want to make your bust look bigger, choose a v-neck halter wedding dress and add pads that give you the size you prefer.

Square or Sloping Shoulders
If you have a dancer's body and elegant, rounded shoulders then a halter dress will fit your body shape perfectly. However, if your shoulders are too square then halter top wedding dresses will highlight this trait. You should also avoid a halter dress if your shoulders slope.

Broad Shoulders
If you have broad shoulders then choose a halter dress with straps that sit wide and close to the end of your collarbones. This style will make your shoulders appear narrower.
