The Hollywood Reporter is, er... reporting, that E! channel has ordered "an extreme plastic surgery bridal competition reality show" called Bridalplasty. [via The Hollywood Reporter]
Here's the low-down: Each week will find a group of brides-to-be participating in challenges such as “writing wedding vows and planning honeymoons,” with the winner given the chance to choose a plastic surgery procedure from her plastic surgery “wish list” and thus be transformed into “the perfect bride.”
Classy!
Considering pre-wedding plastic surgery is nothing new, of course, but it is complicated. This show will likely not focus on minor procedures and slight imperfections. Almost certainly it will focus on dramatic unveilings of completely new faces and bodies.
We all want to look our best on our wedding day... but we still want to look like ourselves, don't we? Our grooms should recognize us at the altar, right!?!?
