Who can get enough of Beyonce's Single Ladies (Put A Ring On It)! Safe to say, it is my official theme song for wedding planning this year.
And here's to all the fellows who heed such sound advice from the Queen B. One in particular, Mr. Jon Reed who was kind enough to bestow me with an engagement ring that knocked my socks off.
It's from Judith Ripka's Estate collection and is perfect for what I perceive as my long, but boney fingers. Pardon the self-criticsm, but I just knew a traditional solitaire would only send me in a tailspin and make me even more self-concious about my basketball player's piano hands.
But now the true test of love, Judith Ripka recently had a sample sale here in New York City and I was so tempted to look for the matching pair of earrings to wear on the big day.
Take a look above and tell me what you think. Am I just going overboard here with the fine jewelry? After all, we have to leave something for them to think of for anniversary gifts - right?
