Page Six is reporting that bridal designer Gabriella Risatti will knock off 30 copies of the Vivienne Westwood wedding dress that Carrie Bradshaw (Sarah Jessica Parker) wears in the Sex And The City movie.
You know, the one Carrie wears when she's stood up at the alter. Maybe the dresses will be luckier for other brides.
Oh, and it doesn't even come with the infamous bird-y hairpiece.

If you ever get stressed out or annoyed with your groom while planning your wedding, think about Amy Taylor and her husband. Celebrate the fact that you are not them. Because they're nuts, and your marriage is going to be so much better.
It just goes to show, once again, that marriage should not be entered lightly: A British couple who married in the Second Life virtual world are heading for divorce after the wife, Amy Taylor, allegedly caught her husband having virtual sex with another Second Life character.
From the CNN article: "...Taylor told the Western Morning News she had subsequently hired an online private detective to track his activities: 'He never did anything in real life, but I had my suspicions about what he was doing in Second Life.'"
Taylor is now in a new relationship with a man she met in the online roleplaying game World of Warcraft(!)

Time Magazine published an interesting article this week titled, "Postnuptial Depression: What Happens the Day After." It explores what most folks refer to as the "wedding day blues" or the range feelings that newlyweds sometimes experience immediately following their ceremonies.
Experts and brides agree that these feelings can be as simple as boredom once all the high-intensity planning is done or to more deeper issues like transitioning into a new life with someone new and the mundane routines and rituals that follow.
They write, "...once the Big Day has come and gone, couples are suddenly forced to step out of their much-cherished, and often long-lived, "bride" or "groom" spotlight and just get on with real life."
What do you think? Is postnuptial depression real? Or do you have any ideas for preparing or coping? Check out the full article and share your thoughts with other brides.

You're not going to believe this, but...
A man who lost his wedding ring off the coast of Hawaii's Oahu island less than 24 hours after his nuptials says the ring washed ashore four days later.
Carlton Helm said he had gone for an 8.5-mile paddle along Oahu's east shore Sunday morning and did not realize until he was nearly finished that he had lost the waterproof case containing his wallet, cell phone and wedding ring.
"It was gone. The container was gone and I freaked out. I was like 'Oh my gosh,'" Helm said.
Helm said he and his new wife left for their honeymoon Nov. 16 to the Hawaiian island of Molokai expecting to never see the ring again.
"I didn't care about the cell phone, wallet. I mean they could have racked up the credit cards. I just wanted my ring," Helm said.
However, the newlyweds said they received a call four days later from Hanauma Bay Park employees saying the plastic case had washed ashore with its contents intact.
"(We were) ecstatic. We're like, 'This is an act of God,'" Helm said.
Truly amazing! What a happy ending!
