The man that so many people love to hate (and so many others just plain love), the face American Idol, Simon Cowell is engaged to makeup artist Mezghan Hussainy.
The news is particularly shocking when you consider Cowell less-than-enthusiastic views on marriage in the past: reports Mail Online, "He said he would never tie the knot, calling marriage an ' outdated contract' and shuddering any time the word commitment was mentioned."
The romantic in us that when he acted so ugly about marriage he just hadn't met the right woman yet. Now he has and knows how great it is!
