It's no secret that we love Ryan & Scarlett, so it was thrilling this weekend when Scarlett made a surprise appearance on Saturday Night Live the night hubby Ryan was hosting.

How cute! They travel so much for their careers, it's great to see them making their work 'work for their them!'

Romance is In!

Apparently a lot of you took our advice on a girl's night out, because The Proposal opened big.

Not only was it easily the #1 movie of the weekend, opening at a huge $34+ million, but was also the best opening weekend rom-com queen Sandra Bullock has ever had!

Could we be entering a new era of romanticism?

We hope so!

Girls Night Out?

When was the last time you called your girlfriends and DIDN'T talk about your upcoming wedding?

Blow off some steam and show that you appreciate your MOH and Bridesmaids by having planning-free girls night out!

Go see The Proposal (a silly looking movie that we've been excited about for a while, thanks to the adorable leads and especially because of Betty White!), go dancing, or just enjoy some good drinks and conversation!

Hollywood Romance

Scarlett Johansson, who is usually very private, has been talking about her marriage with Ryan Reynolds to Cosmopolitan U.K.

She's calling it "a very beautiful time for me," and says "Getting married is a huge moment in anyone's life, and the few months leading up to it were a little crazy. But Ryan and I are in love, and we're enjoying evolving our relationship together. I feel that my life and my work are heading in the right direction."

And what does she say about Ryan specifically? He "has a very romantic side. We both enjoy remembering little things that made us happy - for me, that's what romance is all about. My mom is a romantic person, and I think I inherited it from her. She's very thoughtful and taught me there are many different ways you can be romantic."

We just love their old-fashioned and old-Hollywood romance! So cute!

UPDATE: Apparently Scarlett is denying that she ever discussed her marriage (she never discusses her private life), and is suing Cosmo for the fake quotes! We thought it was adorable when we thought the gushing quotes were genuine, but we love that at least there are still some celebrities who keep their private lives private!
