Jul17With The Proposal soooooo last month, and The Time Traveler's Wife weeks away (we're just ignoring useless-looking The Ugly Truth, in spite of the fact that we like Gerard Butler), our unquenchable thirst for romance has but one new film in its sights: (500) Days Of Summer.
It looks a little too Garden State-style overly precious for our usual tastes, but we're willing to give it a shot. We like Zooey Deschanel, and we really like Joseph Gordon-Levitt. So why not, right?

In a match more than likely made in some Brooklyn record store, Death Cab For Cutie/The Postal Service/DNTEL frontman Ben Gibbard, and She & Him frontwoman/actress Zooey Deschanel have finally decided to tie the knot!
As much as this makes us happy and excited, we'd be even more pleased if they finally collaborated on an extremely-mushy-yet-somehow-utterly-depressing album.
