One of our favorite blogs (Glamour magazine's Save the Date) poses an interesting question. Do you practice your first kiss before you get married??

We know, it sounds silly... you've been kissing each other for ages. But... but! What if his head hits yours, or you both lean the same way, or you guys close yours eyes a second too soon and run nose into nose!

Okay, we don't mean to be dramatic but let's just take a moment out from wedding planning and hiring vendors to think about the first kiss -- that amazing moment you two will share. Surely it needs to be perfect.

Wedding bells rang for one of our favorite bloggers, Joanna Goddard, a couple of weeks ago as she married her now-husband, and The New York Times writer, Alex.

Joanna is behind two of our favorite blogs, which include her own personal blog A Cup of Jo and her work for Glamour's Smitten blog.

Both blogs host some posts we've shared with you here on the OurWeddingDay.com blog... including great wedding inspiration, adorable photos, and engagement stories.

This morning check out some really interesting, non-traditional engagement and wedding photographs by Max Wanger, a photographer based out of Los Angeles who takes photographs you could read books about.

He was featured back in November by Glamour Magazine for his wedding photographs of Shoko and Julian. These are exactly what caught Joanna and Alex's eyes, and led them seek out Wanger to shoot their engagement photos.

These pictures have beautiful composition, adorable ideas, and showcase Wanger's ability to bring out the best in the subjects he works with.
