Springtime is for lovers, and love is in the air for alt-rock stars. The Detroit News reports that White Stripes drummer Meg White will marry Jackson Smith, son of punk legend Patti Smith and the late MC5 guitarist Fred "Sonic" Smith. They'll tie the knot May 22 in Nashville.
Meanwhile, MTV is reporting that Nine Inch Nails maestro Trent Reznor will wed Mariqueen Maandig of the band West Indian Girl, as announced on the West Indian Girl website over the weekend. "Talk about analog and digital love - their kids might all have moogs for arms," the update said.
