We just posted a new article about what brides forget to rehearse: Most wedding couples expect to rehearse the processional and recessional before their big day, but what about the big kiss? The receiving line? Reception toasts?
These "little details" and more should be practiced in advance, and we'll tell you why and how. It may feel a little silly to practice your kiss, for example, but you don't want to both turn your heads the same way and hit each other's noses or foreheads at the altar!
Though they undoubtedly rehearsed and planned for their wedding for months, when they were married recently Andrew goofed up a bit: He pronouncing "lawfully" "waffle-y" during his vows. He tried to have fun with it, adding, "And pancake-y" but by then it was too late. His bride was in hysterics she couldn't recover from. "I've been scared of this my whole life," Andrew said as his bride roared with laughter.
Remember girls, having a sense of humor and enjoying the day -- no matter what -- is key! Well, done, Andrew & Melissa!
